Greg Petrecca

I am a multi-instrumentalist who lives near and grew up in Reston, Virginia, about 20 miles from DC. I have started workng on my first original album, work with several bands in the area, do some recording from my home studio, and participate in jams and open mics when I have time.

Originally a drummer, I branched out about 30 years ago to pick up first Bass, then Percussion, Guitar, Vocals, and recently some Keys. I tend to choose uncommon songs to play, leaning heavily on bands/musicians like Morphine, Tom Waits, Masters of Reality, Cream, and Hendrix.

Now that I've started writing music and playing out with my 3-5 bands more consistently, I've created this site for anyone who wants to follow my activities and outputs as I also start a fresh recording journey.  Please join the mailing list, or fill out the form below if you'd like a quote for an individual or band performance.
